In 2004 Chris Casamassa was reading an article in the USA Today newspaper that inspired him to finalize the creation of the KICKNFIT program. "We (Red Dragon Karate) were always experimenting with different weight loss programs for kids and adults, our Martial arts program has been helping over 3000 students on a daily basis for the past 40 years" says Chris.
Thus KICKNFIT was born, a combination of the dynamic Red Dragon Karate system, some hip Martial Art movie style moves, plus a dose of yoga, and kickboxing, along with the exclusive KICKNFIT eating plan, has created a new revolution in kids’ fitness. In just 10 weeks kids on the program lose 10 pounds or more. So far the program has a 100% success rate with the kids who complete the training.
There are over 50 locations across the United States using the KICKNFIT training system. Chris would like to see 500 locations by 2010. Helping children stay fit and healthy should be a top priority for all Martial Artists and fitness professionals.
